Novel Conversations is a book group that alternates between classic novels and more recent works of fiction and nonfiction.
This timely young adult graphic novel weaves together two timelines to reveal how art, in the face of political upheaval and nearly insurmountable adversity, can become our greatest lifeline. “A touching and tender graphic novel exploration of grief, family, and the vital importance of artistic expression” (Publishers Weekly).
Participants are welcome to come to all the meetings or just those that sound interesting. Multiple copies of each book are available for checkout in the library and are, whenever possible, made available in large print, audiobook, and ebook editions.
Novel Conversations meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm in the Board Room and on Zoom. Email Mike Jorgensen for the Zoom link.
