Intro to Taekwondo

for Grades K-5

Children are invited to jump, kick, and shout their way into the world of Taekwondo with instructors from Mireu Martial Arts in Coralville.

Led by Grandmaster Ms. Lonnie Matthews, along with Master Justin Matthews and student helpers, this session gives children a chance to try real Taekwondo skills in a fun, upbeat environment. Participants will learn beginner kicks, blocks, and stances, play movement-based drills, and even get the chance to try breaking a board -- a favorite moment for first-time students. No experience is needed. Just wear comfortable clothes and come ready to move, learn, and have fun.
