Novel Conversations is a book group that alternates between classic novels and more recent works of fiction and nonfiction. In April join us for a discussion of "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn".
People have been captivated by Huck and Jim and their journey on the Mississippi River for 140 years. Readers and writers alike have found in its pages the fodder for discussions on such topics as the nature of childhood, the evils of slavery, and the restrictions of conventional society.
Participants are welcome to come to all the meetings or just those that sound interesting. Multiple copies of each book are available for checkout in the library and are, whenever possible, made available in large print, audiobook, and ebook editions.
Novel Conversations meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm in the Board Room and on Zoom. Email Mike Jorgensen for the Zoom link.
