Join us for a conversation about Dave Markward's book and his journey toward understanding racism and the benefits of diversity in America after growing up in an almost all white community.
This event is free and open to the public. Copies of the book, "From Dubuque to Selma and Beyond- My Journey to Understand Racism in America" will be available for purchase. All book sale profits will be donated to the Coralville Food Pantry. The author will share his transformative journey working to understand racism and his belief in the power of education to affect change.
