Novel Conversations is a book group that alternates between classic novels and more recent works of fiction and nonfiction.
Participants are welcome to come to all the meetings or just those that sound interesting. Multiple copies of each book are available for checkout in the library and are, whenever possible, made available in large print, audiobook, and ebook editions.
Novel Conversations meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm in the Board Room and on Zoom. Email Mike Jorgensen for the Zoom link.
In November join Novel Conversations for a discussion of "Sparrow Hill Road" by Seanan McGuire.
Rose died in 1952, run off the road by a man named Bobby Cross—a man who sold his soul to live forever. More than 60 years later, Bobby still needs Rose’s soul to finish the deal. After 60 years, Rose is still sixteen, still running from Bobby, and still trying to figure out how to win her freedom in spite of being dead.
