Novel Conversations is a book group that alternates between classic novels and more recent works of fiction and nonfiction.
Participants are welcome to come to all the meetings or just those that sound interesting. Multiple copies of each book are available for checkout in the library and are, whenever possible, made available in large print, audiobook, and ebook editions.
Novel Conversations meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm in the Board Room and on Zoom. Email Mike Jorgensen for the Zoom link.
In December we are discussing A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman.
A Man Called Ove tells of Ove, a curmudgeonly older widower with a short fuse who lives by his principles and strict routine when a young family moves in next door and fills his solitary life with chaos. A surprise, heartwarming hit by Swedish author Backman.
