Novel Conversations
"Normal People" by Sally Rooney
Thursday, December 17
6:00pm - 7:00pm
Coralville Public Library
Board RoomNovel Conversations is a book group that alternates between classic novels and more recent works of fiction and nonfiction.
This story follows Marianne and Connell in their on-again off-again relationship over time in Ireland. A story that Esquire says is “beautifully observed…crackles with vivid insight into what it means to be young and in love,” and why book critic Maureen Corrigan states that "Sally Rooney could write a novel about bath mats and I'd still read it. She’s that good.”
Participants are welcome to come to all the meetings or just those that sound interesting. Multiple copies of each book are available for checkout in the library and are, whenever possible, made available in large print, audiobook, and ebook editions.
Novel Conversations meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm in the Board Room.
