Michelle Collins Anderson, author of "The Flower Sisters" will be at the Coralville Public Library in conversation with Katie Runde, Iowa City author of "The Shore".
The Flower Sisters is a novel that tells the story of the unexplained 1928 Bond Dance Hall Explosion in Missouri that killed 39 people. Susan Meissner called The Flower Sisters “a vivid blend of sensorial writing, historical detail, and memorable characters…poignant, compelling, and surprising…”.
There will be time for questions, and books from both authors will be available for purchase. All are welcome for this free event.
Join us the Thursday before Michelle Collins Anderson's visit for a discussion of The Flower Sisters at our monthly Novel Conversations Book Group meeting. All are welcome.
